Luke Shea - Art and Animation

_This is a quick sketch of John Roderick, whom I had the pleasure of seeing twice this week and shaking hands with tonight. Here's how I first got to know him:

His band is called The Long Winters, and you can find them here:

I learned about him a few ways at once.  One was from his guest appearance on Johnathan Coulton's newest album, Artificial Heart, which you can listen to, in its entirety, for free, here:

My other introduction to him was as the theme music for my favorite comedy podcast, My Brother, My Brother, and Me. Here's their sampler  (If this kind of thing upsets you, you should know that it's crass, but gloriously, fantastically funny):

And, if that sold you, here's their main website:

Should I plug some more stuff?
My Dad, my brothers, and I went for a walk and decided to make some things while we were out and about.

Credits, in order of age:
Sean: Acting, Stunts
Pete: Acting, Stunts
Cow: Acting, Stunts, Cinematography, Direction, Shirtlessness
Luke: Acting, Stunts, FX Consultant, Post-production, Editing, Shrub-Sliding
Dad: Acting, Stunts, Blurriness

Music is written and performed by Scott Joplin

P.S. For those that don't know him, "Cow" is not a cruel insult. It's an inexplicable childhood nickname which has stuck for longer than anyone could have predicted.
I finally played Portal 2 last week, so I've had Valve on the brain.
Portal 2 was as amazing and mind-bending and hilarious as you could possibly ask a game to be.  And hearing that ol' Valve logo music made me miss my friends, The Vortigaunts.
